PELTO LAWN CARE & LANDSCAPING CDL Truck Driver - Class A or B Location : Field – Western Pennsylvania & Eastern Ohio Type : Full Time Schedule: Monday-Friday | Home Every Night Reports to : Owner Compensation : Based on Experience Job Summary: We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious CDL Truck Driver to join our team full-time. This is a great opportunity for a local driver who enjoys being behind the wheel, prefers short-haul routes, and values being home every night. During the winter season, this position will primarily involve hauling salt from pickup locations to support our snow and ice management operations. Pickup locations may be approximately 1–5 hours away. During the warmer months, the role will shift to supporting our lawn care and landscaping operations, including driving routes and assisting with transportation and material delivery as needed. Pelto Lawn Care & Landscaping is a full-service commercial grounds maintenance and snow & ice management contractor with over a decade of experience serving Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. Our clients include property managers, HOAs, municipalities, retail centers, and businesses of all sizes. We deliver year-round exterior operations — from pristine summer grounds to aggressive winter snow management — through a modern equipment fleet and experienced crews. We're growing, and we need the right person to run the operation. Responsibilities: Operate company trucks safely and responsibly. Transport bulk salt during the winter season, including trips to designated pickup locations. Properly load, operate, and unload dump trucks. Assist with lawn care and landscaping operations during non-winter months. Run delivery and service routes as needed. Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all applicable DOT regulations and company safety procedures. Maintain reliable communication with management regarding routes, schedules, and deliveries. Qualifications: Valid Class A or Class B CDL required. Experience operating dump trucks and familiarity with loading and unloading procedures. Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices. Ability to follow schedules, communicate effectively, and work independently. Dependable, punctual, and willing to assist with seasonal operational needs. Ability to work outdoors and assist with physical tasks as needed. Schedule & Employment: Full-time, Monday–Friday Home every night — no overnight or long-haul trips. Short-haul routes with pickup locations approximately 1–5 hours away.
