CDL Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers, to transport goods across designated routes. This role requires adherence to safety regulations and company policies while ensuring timely delivery of freight. Duties Operate trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, in a safe and efficient manner. Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of all cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and hours of service. Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays during transport. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with various types of trucks including flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, and tankers. Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles. Strong understanding of load securement techniques for different types of freight. Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks. Excellent navigation skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers.
