CDL Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking an experienced truck driver to join our team. This position requires an motivated hardworking driver who has a good driving record. And is who is willing to come in and work hard day in and day out. The driver will be responsible for checking fluids and overseeing that the truck is mechanically in good shape before leaving the yard. We want someone that wants to come here and grow as the company grows. All of our workers have been with us for over a decade plus and we want someone that is looking to make a long term commitment. Responsibilities Operate dump truck and transport materials such as gravel, sand, dirt, item 4 and asphalt. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials while adhering to all safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and site operations. Assist with excavator or loader operation when necessary, including loading materials into the dump truck. Maintain accurate records of material deliveries and vehicle maintenance logs. Follow all company policies and safety protocols while on the job site. Perform basic maintenance on the truck as needed, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure. Qualifications Valid CDL license with a clean driving record. Class A is a plus. Proven experience in truck driving, with dump truck and tractor-trailers. Familiarity with manual transmission and various trailer types. Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently. Experience in route driving and delivery operations. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Background in supervising or leading teams is a plus. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
