CDL Route Driver - Home Nights & Weekends!

Description: A&I Distributors is looking for a driven, curious, courteous and reliable route driver to join our growing Portland-based team! We have a brand new fleet of well-maintained box trucks with state-of-the-art pumping systems ready for another eager driver. We provide weekly delivery of a wide variety of motor oil, gear lubes, greases, antifreeze, service chemicals, filters and other automotive/heavy-duty/industrial products and lube equipment from top brands to the Oregon and southern Washington. Responsibilities Include: Perform daily safety checks of the delivery vehicle; pre-trip and post-trip inspections Log Hours of Service on ELD Adhere to company policies and operating procedures Operate liftgates and pump systems Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times Safely offload cased and bulk product from the truck with a pump system, hand truck, drum truck, or pallet jack and place in designated customer storage areas Verify the accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures Handle payments from COD customers, as applicable Maintain a professional personal appearance Maintain truck cleanliness Promote good customer relations to enhance our clients' experiences Requirements: Required Skills/Qualifications: - CDL Drivers License - Class A preferred Current DOT Medical Card Tanker Endorsement Hazmat Endorsement (can hire on contingency basis) Ability to lift 50 pounds Reliable personal transportation to our facilities Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening Ability to communicate clearly with warehouse/office staff, managers and customers Benefits: Health & Dental Insurance Life Insurance Long-Term Disability Insurance 401K ESOP Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Paid Sick Time (After 90 days) Hi-vis uniforms and laundering provided Overtime available Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6am-route completion 40+ hours a week Home at night and weekends Job Type: Full-time ***To apply, please complete the driver application found on our TenStreet website (https://intelliapp.driverapponline.com/c/aidistributors?uri_b=ia_aidistributors_1295257206)***
