CDL - Roll Off Driver

We are looking to add a Roll Off Truck Driver to our team. Your main functions will be transporting Rolloff dumpsters to and from sites as needed in a safe, efficient manner. This position requires a NON AUTOMATIC RESTRICTED CDL A or B. You may also be asked to drive dump trucks and or operate heavy equipment (loaders or excavators) on occasion. We service all of southern York County, Maine. A pre-employment Drug Screen will be performed as part of any interview process. Responsibilities Operate trucks and often maneuver them in tight spaces Routinely inspect brakes, tires, lights, horns, and cooling equipment before leaving the garage Secure containers on the truck and properly place on site to prevent damage to equipment and customer property Follow local and state highway safety regulations Keep records of loads delivered and picked up, arrival and departure times, and maintain vehicle log books (fuel consumption, mileage) Fuel trucks, and heavy equipment Inspects tires for wear and proper inflation Visually inspects vehicles for mechanical defects and reports findings to appropriate personnel Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service Lift arms above shoulder level (i.e., throws bags and loose trash into a truck, enters the cab of a vehicle, uses a steam cleaner Climb ladders or steps to reach objects Understand and follow oral and written instruction in the English language Work cooperatively with other employees and the public Enter the cab of a vehicle that is 3.5 feet off the ground Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others Fast paced atmosphere, year-round work with overtime available.
