CDL Ready-Mix Concrete Truck Driver – Night Shift Location: North Phoenix, AZ – TSMC Construction Project (I-17 / Loop 303) Schedule: Night Shift | On-Site Concrete Production Job Overview We are seeking dependable, safety-conscious CDL Ready-Mix Concrete Truck Drivers to join our operations supporting the TSMC construction project in North Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves operating ready-mix concrete trucks in a high-volume, on-site concrete production environment. Drivers will transport freshly mixed concrete from the on-site batch plant to designated placement locations throughout the construction project. Unlike traditional ready-mix delivery positions, this operation primarily involves short-distance, on-site deliveries rather than traveling between multiple commercial or residential job sites. We are looking for professional drivers who take pride in their equipment, work safely around heavy machinery and construction crews, and can operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Safely operate ready-mix concrete mixer trucks throughout the construction site. Transport and discharge concrete at designated placement locations. Coordinate with batch plant personnel, dispatchers, pump operators, and construction crews. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Monitor concrete consistency and make authorized adjustments when necessary. Safely maneuver around construction equipment, personnel, and restricted work areas. Maintain accurate delivery tickets, vehicle inspections, and required documentation. Keep assigned equipment clean and perform routine washouts. Report mechanical issues, safety hazards, and equipment defects promptly. Follow all company safety procedures, site-specific requirements, and applicable DOT regulations. Qualifications Required: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) appropriate for the equipment operated. Safe driving record and commitment to professional driving practices. Ability to work night shifts in an active construction environment. Ability to safely enter and exit commercial vehicles repeatedly throughout the shift. Strong situational awareness and ability to follow site traffic and safety procedures. Dependability, punctuality, and effective communication skills. Preferred: Previous ready-mix concrete truck driving experience. Experience operating commercial vehicles on large construction or industrial projects. Familiarity with concrete delivery procedures, slump, and mixer drum operation. Basic mechanical knowledge and experience identifying vehicle defects. Experience working around concrete pumps and heavy construction equipment. Work Environment This position is based at the TSMC construction project in North Phoenix, near Interstate 17 and Loop 303 . Drivers should expect: Night-shift operations. On-site concrete production and delivery. Frequent interaction with construction crews and heavy equipment. Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
