Valley Energy Company is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious CDL Propane Delivery Driver (Bobtail Driver) to join our team in Purcellville, Virginia. Propane delivery experience is preferred, but we encourage qualified CDL drivers from other industries to apply. What You’ll Do As a Propane Delivery Driver, you will safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers throughout our service area. Primary responsibilities include: Safely operate a propane bobtail delivery truck on established local routes. Deliver propane to residential and commercial customer locations. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Follow DOT, FMCSA, and applicable hazardous materials safety regulations. Monitor vehicle and equipment conditions and report maintenance concerns. Provide professional, courteous customer service. Communicate effectively with dispatch and office personnel. Assist with other operational responsibilities as assigned. What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements. Acceptable driving record. Ability to meet applicable DOT medical qualification requirements. Ability to pass required pre-employment drug testing and background screening. Commitment to safe driving practices and regulatory compliance. Ability to work independently and manage daily delivery responsibilities. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
