CDL Passenger Driver - Charter and Group Transportation

Job Summary ELW Motorcoach is seeking dependable, professional, and safety-focused CDL Charter Bus Drivers to join our team. Our drivers provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for groups traveling to corporate events, weddings, school trips, sporting events, airport transfers, private tours, and other scheduled charter services. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to passenger safety, excellent customer service skills, a professional appearance, and a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Safely operate charter buses to transport passengers to scheduled destinations. Provide courteous, professional, and friendly customer service. Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Ensure the bus is clean, presentable, and in good operating condition. Follow assigned routes, schedules, and trip itineraries. Assist passengers with boarding, luggage, and seating when needed. Communicate professionally with dispatch, management, and customers. Maintain accurate trip logs, inspection reports, and other required paperwork. Report mechanical issues, accidents, delays, or safety concerns promptly. Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while representing the company. Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight trips as needed. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the appropriate passenger endorsement. Valid medical certification and driving record that meet applicable requirements. Previous charter bus, motorcoach, shuttle, or passenger transportation experience preferred. Knowledge of safe driving practices and applicable transportation regulations. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to follow schedules and trip instructions. Ability to work independently and professionally with diverse groups of passengers. Must meet applicable company, insurance, and regulatory driver qualification requirements. High School diploma Preferred Qualifications Previous experience driving charter buses or motorcoaches. Knowledge of local and regional roads, highways, and popular destinations. Experience transporting corporate groups, tour groups, sports teams, or private parties. Flexible availability for local, regional, and out-of-town trips.
