Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks on OTR routes, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers Navigate using GPS systems to ensure accurate and timely deliveries across multiple states Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly according to logistics cargo handling standards Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods or hazardous materials Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness for long-distance travel Manage delivery schedules efficiently by planning routes that optimize fuel use and delivery times Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for over-the-road driving routes Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods transportation Experience operating manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers with manual handling skills Knowledge of GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time tracking Ability to load & unload freight safely using proper manual handling techniques Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and safety protocols for truck loading/unloading and hazardous materials handling Join us if you’re ready to hit the road with energy and purpose!
