CDL & NON CDL DRIVER

WE’RE HIRING – CDL / NON-CDL DRIVER HOME NIGHTLY | CDL PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED Southern Roots Tree Farm | Crystal River, FL We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and responsible driver to join our team. CDL preferred, but not required. Previous experience driving a truck and trailer is a MUST. Job Responsibilities: Hauling and delivering trees, plants, and nursery material. Properly securing and tarping loads. Completing same-day load-and-go deliveries. Preloading trucks and trailers for next-day deliveries. Frequent routes to Southern South Carolina and Northern Georgia. Performing thorough pre-trip inspections of trucks and trailers before every trip. IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: TRUCK & TRAILER DRIVING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Applicants must be confident and experienced in safely operating, maneuvering, and backing a truck and trailer. PRE-TRIP INSPECTIONS - Drivers are expected to thoroughly inspect their truck, trailer, tires, lights, brakes, and equipment before hitting the road. Safety and preventative maintenance are a priority. Must understand proper load securement and tarping procedures. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must be dependable, punctual, and take responsibility for company equipment. WHAT TO EXPECT: HOME EVERY NIGHT! Most out-of-state deliveries are completed within the same day. Overnight stays are extremely rare. NO UNLOADING REQUIRED AT DELIVERY LOCATIONS. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting and delivering loads, not assisting with unloading. We are looking for someone who takes safety seriously, has real experience behind the wheel, and understands the responsibility that comes with operating a truck and trailer. Interested in applying?
