CDL Local Truck Driver M-F Nampa Area

Overview Join Deerflat Trucking's team as a CDL Local Truck Driver, with compensation of $22–$28 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule. You’ll transport dirt, aggregate, and rock safely and reliably on local routes. You’ll operate standard-transmission commercial side dump, end dump, pup & truck, and 10-wheeler dump trucks. This role requires safe driving practices, a clean 3-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), careful load management, and knowledge of applicable transportation regulations. Duties Responsibilities Drive commercial trucks on local routes, using GPS navigation to follow assigned routes and delivery schedules. Inspect vehicles and cargo, and comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, and hazardous materials rules when applicable. Complete local delivery records and promptly communicate route or cargo issues. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean 3-year commercial driving record. Previous delivery driver experience and route-driving skills preferred. Ability to operate manual-transmission trucks and safely handle loading and unloading. Knowledge of safe driving practices and applicable DOT, FMCSA, and hazardous materials regulations.
