CDL Instructor – Part-Time (Bilingual English/Spanish)

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about teaching, committed to safety, and motivated to help students develop the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to become successful commercial drivers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, hands-on commercial driving experience, and the ability to provide clear and effective instruction in both English and Spanish. Key Responsibilities Provide professional CDL training and hands-on instruction to students. Teach safe driving techniques, vehicle inspections, backing maneuvers, and other essential commercial driving skills. Guide and support students throughout their training to help them develop confidence and proficiency. Evaluate student performance, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback. Ensure students follow all safety procedures and training guidelines. Maintain a positive, respectful, and supportive learning environment. Communicate effectively with students and staff in both English and Spanish. Help prepare students for the practical components of their CDL skills examination. Qualifications & Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Minimum of 2 years of professional CDL driving experience. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Strong verbal communication and instructional skills. Ability to explain driving techniques clearly and patiently. Excellent organizational skills, punctuality, and reliability. Strong commitment to student success and safety. Professional attitude and ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
