CDL Haul Truck Driver

Brooke Paving & Construction LLC is seeking an experienced, dependable CDL Haul Truck Driver for our New Braunfels-area construction operations. We are looking for a safe, professional driver who can reliably haul materials, work around active construction equipment and crews, complete required paperwork, and take ownership of their truck and daily responsibilities. Responsibilities Safely operate company haul trucks to transport asphalt, dirt, aggregate, base material, and other construction materials Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly Complete driver vehicle inspection reports, load tickets, time records, and other required documentation accurately Follow DOT requirements, company safety procedures, traffic laws, and jobsite rules Communicate professionally with dispatch, plant personnel, supervisors, customers, and jobsite crews Maintain a clean, organized truck and take care of assigned equipment Work safely around heavy equipment, traffic, uneven ground, and changing jobsite conditions Assist with other reasonable jobsite duties when needed Qualifications Valid Class A CDL required Current DOT medical card required Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements Previous dump truck, haul truck, asphalt, dirt, aggregate, or construction-driving experience strongly preferred Ability to pass required pre-employment and DOT drug/alcohol testing Reliable transportation, consistent attendance, and a strong safety mindset Ability to work full-time and occasional overtime as project needs require The Right Person Shows up on time and ready to work Drives safely and takes care of equipment Communicates when there is a problem instead of ignoring it Understands that accurate tickets, inspections, and paperwork matter Works well with crews and follows direction Position Details Full-time, field-based position Based in the New Braunfels area $25–$35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Benefits include 401(k), 401(k) matching, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus paid time off.
