Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will ensure smooth daily operations while adhering to safety standards. Duties Safely operate a rear loader, to perform waste collection and transportation tasks Load and unload waste materials efficiently using manual lifting techniques or mechanical equipment Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Maintain accurate logs of routes, loads, and disposal activities in accordance with company policies Assist with maintenance tasks by reporting issues promptly Follow established safety procedures during all operations to protect yourself, colleagues, and the environment Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Proven experience driving heavy-duty vehicles Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance checks on trucks and equipment Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform manual labor when required Excellent driving record demonstrating safe operation of commercial vehicles Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude This role is perfect for motivated drivers who thrive in active environments and are committed to delivering exceptional service.
