Duties
• Safely operate CDL-end dump trucks to deliver construction materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris to designated sites
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, ensuring all equipment is maintained according to safety procedures and mechanical standards
• Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures at all times during operation
• Assist with construction site utility work, including utility locating and supporting excavation activities as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on trucks and auxiliary machinery like water trucks, loaders, excavators, backhoes, and Caterpillar equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other heavy equipment operators for efficient loading, unloading, and grading operations
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, inspections, maintenance activities, and safety compliance records
Experience
• Proven experience in commercial truck driving within the construction industry or related heavy equipment operation roles
• Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with construction utility work including utility locating, excavation, grading, and site preparation
• Hands-on experience operating loaders, excavators (including Caterpillar), backhoes, water trucks, and other heavy machinery
• Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation
• Demonstrated ability to perform equipment safety procedures consistently and effectively
• Construction site experience with an understanding of construction grading, utility installation, and excavation processes

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

• End Dump: 2 years (Preferred)
