CDL Dump Truck Driver - Night Shift

EXPERIENCED NIGHT SHIFT DUMP TRUCK DRIVERS: PAID DRIVE TIME + TIME AND A HALF Gulley's Backhoe Service is a family-owned company that has been working in the Raleigh area since 1988. We are hiring 3 experienced dump truck drivers for our NIGHT SHIFT crew. If you are a safe, steady driver who shows up on time, likes working nights, and wants a full paycheck, this is for you. THIS IS A DEDICATED NIGHT POSITION (PLEASE READ) If you drive for another company during the day, please do not apply. Our night drivers must come in rested and stay within federal hours-of-service limits. This job needs to be your only driving job. WHAT YOU GET $18 to $21 per hour, based on experience Time and a half on every hour over 40 Paid drive time Long, full shifts, so overtime is built into the schedule A family-owned company that has been in business for over 35 years SCHEDULE Sunday night through Thursday night 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM If you cannot commit to this schedule, please do not apply. WHAT YOU NEED Valid CDL, Class A or Class B At least 2 years of dump truck driving experience (general CDL or box truck experience does not count) Clean driving record: no moving violations in the last 3 years, and no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 5 years Must pass a pre-employment drug test Current DOT medical card Comfortable driving at night and around active night work zones Reliable, on time, and safety first every single shift WHAT YOU WILL DO Haul dirt, stone, gravel, asphalt, and other materials to and from construction job sites Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections every shift Keep accurate load tickets and paperwork Communicate with dispatch and job site foremen PLEASE NOTE This position is hourly pay with overtime and paid drive time.
