Winter CDL Operator – Snow Operations Full-Time & Part-Time | Day & Night Shifts Available A-1 Lawn & Landscaping is hiring dependable CDL Operators to join our winter snow operations team. We have both full-time and part-time positions available , with multiple shifts to choose from, including day and night shifts . This is a seasonal winter position operating commercial vehicles throughout Anchorage during snow and ice events. We are looking for safety-minded, reliable drivers who are comfortable working in winter conditions and understand that snow operations can require long or irregular hours depending on the weather. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks for snow hauling Haul snow from commercial properties to designated snow dump locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Safely operate trucks in snow, ice, and changing winter road conditions Maintain communication with dispatch and snow operations supervisors Follow assigned routes and job-site instructions Complete required paperwork and equipment documentation Assist with other snow and ice management duties as needed Operate sander trucks to apply traction materials (as needed) Operate deicer/liquid application trucks (as needed) Schedule We have several scheduling options available to accommodate different availability: Full-Time & Part-Time positions Day shifts Night shifts Weekday and weekend work may be available Hours may increase significantly during active snow events Operators must be dependable and available for their assigned shifts when winter weather hits Qualifications Valid Class A or Class B CDL Valid DOT medical card Clean and insurable driving record Ability to safely operate commercial trucks in winter conditions Ability to work independently and follow directions Dependable transportation to and from work Strong attention to safety and equipment care Must be reliable— when the snow falls, our customers depend on us to show up Why Join A-1?
