CDL Dump Truck Driver - Day Shift

EXPERIENCED DUMP TRUCK DRIVERS: PAID DRIVE TIME + TIME AND A HALF Gulley's Backhoe Service is a family-owned company that has been working in the Raleigh area since 1988. We are hiring 3 experienced dump truck drivers for our DAY SHIFT crew. If you are a safe, steady driver who shows up on time and wants a full paycheck, this is for you. WHAT YOU GET $18 to $21 per hour, based on experience Time and a half on every hour over 40 Paid drive time Long, full workdays Monday through Friday, so overtime is built into the schedule A family-owned company that has been in business for over 35 years SCHEDULE (PLEASE READ) Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 6:30 PM Saturdays when needed. You must be available. If you cannot commit to this schedule, please do not apply. WHAT YOU NEED Valid CDL, Class A or Class B At least 2 years of dump truck driving experience (general CDL or box truck experience does not count) Clean driving record: no moving violations in the last 3 years, and no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 5 years Must pass a pre-employment drug test Current DOT medical card Reliable, on time, and safety first every single day WHAT YOU WILL DO Haul dirt, stone, gravel, asphalt, and other materials to and from construction job sites Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Keep accurate load tickets and paperwork Communicate with dispatch and job site foremen PLEASE NOTE This position is hourly pay with overtime and paid drive time.
