CDL DUMP TRUCK DRIVER

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and other freight across various routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to handle complex logistics will ensure timely deliveries and efficient cargo handling. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Duties Operate dump trucks with manual transmission across over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload freight, including hazardous materials and dangerous goods, following hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols Use GPS navigation systems to follow designated routes accurately and efficiently Transport freight such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or tractor-trailers while ensuring cargo integrity and security Conduct pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and safety audits on the truck and trailer before each shift Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo weight, route details, and delivery documentation in accordance with DOT regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and logistics coordinators to coordinate delivery schedules and route adjustments Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for dump trucks, hazardous materials (Hazmat), or tanker operations preferred Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with load & unload operations and freight delivery driving Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, and tractor-trailers is highly desirable Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazard materials regulations, DOT compliance standards, and safety procedures for manual handling and truck loading/unloading Ability to operate GPS navigation systems confidently for route planning and navigation Experience with over-the-road (OTR) driving routes involving long-distance deliveries or route driving assignments Excellent manual handling skills for safe load securing and cargo management A clean driving record with a focus on safety compliance in line with DOT standards Join our team as a CDL Dump Truck Driver if you’re passionate about delivering essential freight safely while adhering to the highest safety standards.
