Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy construction machinery, including dump trucks, excavators, loaders, and backhoes, to support excavation, grading, and utility work on various construction sites. Your expertise will help ensure efficient project progress while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and equipment protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects while honing your skills in heavy equipment operation and construction utility work. This Position is a Full Time position Monday through Friday, We do have Weekend work at times which we would greatly appreciate if you can also work some weekends. When the weather is nasty and WET outside we do not work, keep in mind These days are not paid as you are not working, that being said WE WILL try to get all the Trucks out to work regardless of weather. If the JOBSITES are too wet for trucks to work that day, i will try and find something else for you to do for the day. Your PAY will be based off of your prior work experience in this field of work. Duties Safely operate dump trucks, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and other construction machinery in accordance with federal safety standards and company policies Transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and debris to and from construction sites efficiently and responsibly Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Assist with construction grading, excavation, and utility locating tasks as needed to support project requirements Follow all safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment needs and site operations effectively Experience Proven experience operating commercial trucks and heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and Caterpillar equipment Strong knowledge of construction utility work including utility locating techniques and excavation procedures Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures Mechanical aptitude for performing routine maintenance on construction machinery Prior experience working on large-scale construction sites with a focus on excavation, grading, or utility installation Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record preferred Construction site experience emphasizing safety regulations and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable Join us in building the future!
