CDL Driver Needed

Overview Join our transportation team as a CDL Driver and help passengers reach their destinations safely and reliably. You’ll operate buses, motor coaches, shuttles, or vans, adapting your driving to the route, vehicle, and passenger needs. Your impact: Safe, attentive driving helps passengers—including those who need extra assistance—travel with greater confidence. Duties Drive assigned routes on city streets and other roads, following traffic laws and transportation safety regulations. Assist passengers with boarding and exiting, including people with special needs, and provide courteous customer service. Use two-way radios to communicate with dispatch and other drivers. Complete vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs; apply mechanical knowledge to identify concerns. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and state transportation regulations, and drive defensively in adverse weather. Qualifications Required: A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with applicable air brake qualification, and the ability to communicate in English. Required: Safe driving practices, communication skills, and commitment to passenger safety. Relevant experience may include bus or school bus driving, paratransit, motor coach, shuttle, commercial, delivery, or van driving. Familiarity with passenger assistance, vehicle maintenance, city street navigation, two-way radios, and applicable safety regulations is valuable.
