About the Position Gemini Tech Services, LLC is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious CDL Driver / Logistics Support Specialist to provide transportation, delivery, and logistical support services. This position involves operating commercial vehicles and material-handling equipment to transport personnel, equipment, supplies, fuel, and other materials to designated locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation, inspection, and routine maintenance of assigned vehicles and equipment, as well as loading, securing, transporting, and unloading cargo in accordance with applicable safety regulations and transportation requirements. This is a civilian contractor position. No military service, military background, or prior military experience is required or necessary. Key Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks, buses, forklifts, all-terrain utility vehicles, and other assigned vehicles to transport personnel, equipment, supplies, fuel, and materials to designated destinations. Safely transport materials and personnel over local and extended routes in accordance with established schedules and transportation requirements. Load, unload, secure, and inspect cargo to ensure safe transportation and compliance with applicable regulations and vehicle weight limitations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and operator-level preventive maintenance to ensure assigned vehicles and equipment remain in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate vehicle inspection reports, mileage records, delivery documentation, and other required transportation records. Assist with warehouse and logistical operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, tracking, and distributing equipment and supplies. Support material handling, equipment staging, pallet preparation, loading, delivery, and recovery operations. Follow all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, safety procedures, and company policies. Immediately report vehicle defects, accidents, safety concerns, and transportation-related incidents to appropriate management personnel. Perform additional transportation, logistics, and material-handling duties as assigned in support of contract requirements. Required Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Current Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement and Tanker endorsement, or the ability to obtain both endorsements within 60 days of hire. Demonstrated ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and material-handling equipment. Knowledge of vehicle safety inspections, cargo securement, and applicable transportation regulations. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate transportation and delivery records. Strong commitment to workplace safety and responsible vehicle operation. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in commercial transportation, delivery services, fleet operations, or logistics support. Experience operating forklifts, buses, and other material-handling equipment. Experience transporting regulated materials. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and DOT compliance requirements. Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Required CDL endorsements as identified above. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Must be able to travel independently throughout the continental United States and, when required, internationally.
