CDL Driver – Full-Time, Stable Schedule

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Transit Bus Operator responsible for safely operating transit vehicles, assisting passengers, and ensuring timely service. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards. Practice defensive driving and operate transit equipment accurately. Assist passengers, including those with disabilities, ensuring ADA compliance. Communicate effectively with dispatch and passengers, sharing route information. Complete required documentation and adhere to safety protocols. Represent the organization’s mission and values through excellent customer service. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record; CDL Class B with passenger and air brake endorsements preferred. Must meet physical requirements and pass a DOT physical, drug/alcohol tests, and background checks. Ability to operate vehicle controls, lift up to 25 pounds, and remain alert during long shifts.
