CDL Driver – Full-Time, Stable Schedule

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Transit Bus Operator responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers along prescribed routes while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety. Practice defensive driving and remain alert to external conditions. Assist passengers, including those with disabilities, ensuring ADA compliance. Operate transit equipment such as fare boxes and dispatch systems accurately. Communicate professionally with dispatch and passengers, providing route information. Complete required documentation and report safety hazards. Uphold safety and security procedures, fostering a community-focused service. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or Equivalent; valid driver’s license with a satisfactory record. Preferred: CDL Class B with passenger and air brake endorsements. Must meet physical requirements and pass DOT physical, drug tests, and background checks. Ability to operate vehicles safely, with physical endurance, coordination, and alertness. Additional Details: The role involves flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
