CDL Driver – Full-Time, Stable Schedule

Role Overview: The Transit Bus Operator is responsible for safely operating transit vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs on assigned routes. Key Responsibilities Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety. Practice defensive driving and adhere to traffic laws and safety protocols. Assist passengers, including those with disabilities, following ADA standards. Operate fare boxes, dispatch systems, and security equipment accurately. Communicate professionally with dispatch and passengers, and complete required documentation. Report hazards and maintain a safe environment. Represent the organization’s mission and values in all interactions. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or Equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record. Preferred: CDL Class B with passenger and air brake endorsements. Must meet physical requirements, pass DOT physical, drug and alcohol tests, and background checks. Ability to operate vehicles safely, with endurance, coordination, and good vision/hearing.
