Job Title: CDL Driver / Field Equipment Operator Company: Texar Metals Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: Texar Metals is currently seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Driver / Field Equipment Operator to join our team. This position combines driving responsibilities with hands-on work at job sites, supporting metal operations and equipment handling. This is a dual-role position ideal for someone comfortable both behind the wheel and working in the field performing manual labor and operating machinery. Responsibilities: Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites Load and unload materials as needed Perform manual labor tasks at job sites Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently Assist with general site operations and team support Follow all safety procedures and company policies Requirements: Valid Class A CDL (minimum 3 years required) Minimum of 3 years of CDL driving experience Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor job site conditions Experience operating machinery/equipment preferred Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Experience in metal, construction, or industrial environments Equipment operation experience (forklift, loaders, etc.) What We Offer: Competitive pay (based on experience) Opportunities for overtime Stable, full-time work Employer-paid health insurance (70% coverage) 401(k) with company match
