CDL Driver Class A

Overview As a CDL Driver Class A, you’ll move freight safely and reliably using commercial trucks and tractor-trailers. You’ll follow assigned routes, handle cargo carefully, and keep deliveries on track. Your impact: Safe, timely transportation helps customers receive their goods and supports dependable logistics operations. Duties Drive commercial vehicles on local routes and over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, using GPS navigation to follow planned routes and adjust as needed. Transport freight, including automobile transportation, with refrigerated trailers and, when qualified and assigned, flatbed or tanker equipment. Load and unload cargo; perform manual handling and secure loads to support safe transport. Complete delivery driving tasks, inspect equipment, and report vehicle or cargo concerns. Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT), hazardous materials, and dangerous goods regulations when applicable. Skills Required: Valid Class A commercial driver’s license and ability to operate a tractor-trailer, including a manual transmission, safely. Required: Knowledge of truck driving, commercial driving, route driving, and safe cargo handling; able to load and unload freight. Required: Ability to follow applicable safety procedures and regulations, including hazmat requirements when transporting hazardous materials. Preferred: Delivery driver experience and experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation. Preferred: Familiarity with GPS navigation, logistics cargo handling, and over-the-road routes. Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,600.00 per week Work Location: In person
