CDL Driver

Overview Join our dynamic team as a CDL Driver and take charge of delivering freight safely, efficiently, and on time. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and, to transport goods across diverse routes. Your expertise in logistics cargo handling, route driving, and compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations will ensure smooth operations from loading to delivery. Must have 5 years of experience. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and, across over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques while adhering to safety standards Navigate using GPS systems efficiently to meet delivery schedules and optimize routes Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods following all hazardous materials regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and hazardous materials regulations at all times during driving and cargo handling Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips; report any mechanical issues promptly Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with tractor-trailers or similar vehicles Knowlage flatbed handling, and automobile transportation is highly desirable Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient routing and delivery planning Ability to load & unload freight safely using manual handling techniques; experience with truck loading/unloading is a plus Strong understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations Skilled in manual transmission operation for various truck types; comfortable with manual handling tasks involved in logistics cargo handling Excellent driving skills with a clean record; experience with over-the-road (OTR) routes preferred Ability to manage hazardous goods safely while complying with all safety standards for dangerous goods transportation Join us as a CDL Driver if you’re passionate about professional driving, committed to safety standards, and eager to deliver excellence on every route.
