General Job Description - Truck Driver & Material Handler Reports to: Dispatch Manager Job Summary: Moscow Building Supply is currently looking for a self-driven, experienced Truck Driver & Material Handler with a clean driving record. Pay rate depends on skill level & relevant experience. Daily responsibilities include building loads, delivering orders to customers, booming materials, and assisting customers with the unloading & placement of products. Experience with a material telehandler, knuckle boom crane, and Moffett forklift are essential. Must have the ability to work longer than an eight hour shifts when needed, and able to work the occasional weekend if needed. DOT required testing and background checks are mandatory. Experience: Must have Class 'B' Commercial License, but a Class 'A' is preferred Must have forklift experience Must be personable and able to offer outstanding customer service Lumber Building Materials Industry experience preferred Experience running short haul loads over various terrain during all seasons also preferred Crane certification or experience preferred Conduct pre-trip and inspections to ensure trucks safety and report any mechanical issues promptly Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries Work with dispatch for scheduled deliveries Must be able to work outside in the elements CDL A or B Must have a clean driving record Must be able to pass a drug test
