CDL Driver

Buddy's Upstate Logistics LLC is seeking a CDL Driver to support the safe and timely transportation of goods in Simpsonville, SC. Position Summary As a CDL Driver, you will operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and compliance. You’ll be responsible for planning routes, securing loads, and ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule. This is a full-time, onsite role where reliability and a strong safety mindset are essential to keeping freight moving and customers satisfied. Key Responsibilities Operate CDL-approved commercial vehicles safely and according to all applicable regulations and company policies. Transport freight to assigned locations, following scheduled routes and delivery timelines. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicles are in proper operating condition. Secure and verify loads to prevent damage and ensure safe transport. Maintain accurate records related to deliveries, mileage, logs, and shipment documentation. Required Qualifications Valid CDL appropriate for the vehicles and routes assigned. Ability to drive safely and consistently while following traffic laws and DOT/commercial driving regulations. Strong attention to safety, inspection procedures, and safe vehicle operation. Ability to manage time effectively and complete deliveries as scheduled. Willingness to work full-time onsite in Simpsonville, SC. Preferred Qualifications Experience driving commercial vehicles in a logistics or transportation environment. Familiarity with safe loading practices and basic freight handling procedures. Experience maintaining delivery and compliance documentation with attention to detail. A safety-first work ethic and a professional approach to interacting with customers and team members. Compensation Hourly rate: $28 - $30
