CDL Delivery Driver

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a qualified CDL driver to join our reliable, hard-working team. Position Summary: We are seeking an Oregon Certified CDL Delivery Driver to join our delivery team. This full-time role involves loading a CDL box truck or a tarped flatbed each morning, delivering building construction materials to multiple customers, and providing prompt, courteous, and safe deliveries. While most shifts are from 6 AM to 4 PM, drivers should be prepared for extended days (up to 7–8 PM) or occasional overnight trips due to route demands. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a CDL-class box truck, flatbed, or Moffett for multi-stop deliveries Load and unload building materials using a forklift and pallet jack Load and unload building materials 50lb+/- by hand Follow all DOT regulations, Oregon CDL requirements, and traffic laws Complete required driver logs and delivery documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers throughout the route Ensure the truck is safely and properly loaded within weight limitations Represent Gutterman’s Supply with professionalism and customer focus Hard Skills: Valid Oregon CDL (Class A or B) Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and ability to pass DOT screening Experience operating CDL trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks Knowledge of truck weight limits, safe loading procedures, and driver log requirements Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing labor-intensive tasks Soft Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills Able to multi-task and stay organized under pressure Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and attention to detail Positive mindset and ability to represent the company professionally Job Type: Full-time Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Trucking Driver Type: Company driver Trucking Route: Local OTR Work Days: Monday to Friday Ability to Commute: Portland, OR 97211 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Portland, OR 97211: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Portland, OR 97211
