ConfidentialCompany: Goat Turf Installation, LLC Job Title: CDL Delivery Driver Department: Contracting Reports to: Fleet Manager Job Summary: The CDL Driver will be responsible for transporting materials such as turf, infill, Nailer board, machinery to and from the job sites using company trucks/equipment and trailers. You will hold a valid Class A license, have experience with construction or landscaping materials, and operate vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Daily duties include pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate delivery logs, and working closely with site crews to ensure timely and accurate material placement. The CDL Delivery Driver handles safe storage, loading, and delivery of artificial turf, installation materials, and related products. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate inventory control and timely, safe delivery of materials to job sites, customers, and contractors. A strong work ethic, punctuality, and adherence to safety regulations are essential for the ideal candidate. Duties/Responsibilities: Safely operate trucks and transport materials in compliance with company policies and all DOT regulations, including loading, hauling, and unloading materials at project sites. Perform vehicle inspections and basic equipment oversight, completing required pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identifying mechanical issues, and reporting maintenance needs promptly. Manage material delivery operations, coordinating with site personnel to ensure accurate loading, safe unloading, proper weight limits, and minimal site disruption or material loss. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records, including inspection reports, driver logs, and material delivery records required by company and regulatory standards. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; load and unload trailer; securing all loads to prevent damage during transport. Safely operate company trucks, flatbeds, or delivery vehicles to deliver artificial turf, aggregates, infill, edging, adhesives, tools, and accessories to job sites and customers. Verify delivery contents before departure, obtain customer signatures and delivery confirmations, and return completed paperwork promptly. Inspect delivery vehicles before and after each trip, maintain accurate inspection logs, and immediately report accidents, vehicle issues, or maintenance needs. Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures during all deliveries. Lift and move turf rolls and materials weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance or equipment and ensure proper storage to prevent product damage. Provide professional, responsive customer service during deliveries and pickups, answering basic product questions and communicating any delays or issues promptly. Follow OSHA and company safety policies, wear required PPE, participate in safety meetings and training, and report unsafe conditions immediately. Coordinate with fleet managers, project managers, and field crews to support efficient route planning, timely deliveries, and effective communication across all project locations. Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed.
