CDL - Dedicated Route Driver
H&H Express, Inc.Overview H&H Express, Inc., is a family friendly, fast paced environment, seeking a full-time Dedicated Montana Route CDL driver to join our team. Position required a Class A CDL & DOT Medical Card. This dedicated route will be delivering palletized potato chips from a 53ft dry van with lift gate. Product is delivered to dedicated storage units and unloaded with a manual pallet jack. This route runs from Spokane Valley WA to as far East as Billings MT. Trailers are pre-loaded so there is no waiting to be loaded. Candidates must have strong customer service skills and must be detail oriented. All loads will include multiple stops. Driver can expect 2 overnight runs per week. Driver will work Sunday - Thursday. Starting Salary is $60,000.00 with a performance bonus effective after performance review. Must be able to drive manual truck. Must be a self-starter & be willing to jump in & help when needed. Must be dependable. Must have a clean driving record for insurance purposes. Must be able to pass pre-employment & random drug tests. Must be self-motivated & a team player. Must be able to use a pallet jack, hand cart, forklift & lift gate. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions. Unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jack & hand cart. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, adhering to schedules while maintaining safety on the road. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for all shipments and vehicle inspections. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating tractor-trailers and specialized trucks. Proven experience in truck driving, delivery routes, or freight transportation. Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles and operating various truck types. Experience with freight handling including load & unload procedures using forklifts or other equipment. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving, including DOT compliance and hours-of-service rules. Ability to perform vehicle inspections thoroughly and identify maintenance needs proactively. Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and customers.
