CDL Class B Truck Driver 5 to 6 days

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills. Duties Operate Box truck Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of freight while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel use, and any incidents that occur during transport. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation laws and regulations. Communicate with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in route driving with a strong understanding of freight handling procedures. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
