CDL Class B Route Delivery Driver – 26' Box Truck (Full-Time) Location: Fairfield, NJ (Tri-State Area Routes) Overview Busy logistics company in Fairfield, NJ, seeking a CDL Class B Route delivery driver for consistent daily routes across the tri-state area driving a 26’ Box Truck. Must be CDL certified, have a clean driving record as well as current DOT medical card. Willingness to travel regularly and drive long distances. Overtime may be required on occasion. Salary negotiable based upon experience. Core Hours 4:00am-12:00pm. Responsibilities: Drive a 26' box truck on assigned tri-state routes Assess each load before departure, including weight, size, fragility, and handling needs, and determine the safest way to load and transport it Load, block, brace, and secure freight properly using straps, load bars, and other equipment to prevent shifting, damage, or injury Deliver and unload freight safely and on schedule Keep accurate location updates, manifests, delivery logs, and proof of delivery (POD) Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues right away Check loads at stops and during transit when needed, and adjust securement as necessary Report damaged, shifted, or improperly packaged freight to dispatch immediately Keep dispatch and customers updated Follow all company policies and DOT/FMCSA regulations Skills: Commercial driving experience Route driving experience Ability to drive safely and efficiently Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Job Type: Full-time Position Details Schedule: Monday–Friday, core hours 4:00am- 12:00pm Overtime: May be required based on business needs Travel: Regular local and regional (tri-state area) routes Compensation: Competitive; based on experience Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
