Job Summary: The Local Class A CDL Truck Driver is responsible for transporting company equipment and inventory, operating trucks and related equipment, and ensuring proper loading, unloading, and securement of materials. We provide on-the-job training with a variety of equipment and materials, along with job-specific instruction. Duties: Safely operate Class B dump trucks in compliance with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws. Transport materials (soil, stone, concrete rubble, equipment, etc.) to and from job sites, staging areas, and disposal facilities. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily; log and report any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly. Work closely with concrete crews during pours, including chute control, wheelbarrowing, rake/shovel work, and job-site cleanup. Assist in loading/unloading materials, hand tools, and small equipment. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area on active job sites. Secure loads properly and ensure truck weight limits adhere to local and state regulations. Qualifications: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or higher with a clean driving record. DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain/maintain one). Concrete experience (pouring, flatwork, or site prep) is a strong plus. Ability to lift up to 50–70 lbs regularly, climb in and out of equipment, and perform active manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Familiarity with OSHA standards and job site safety protocols. Strong work ethic, punctual, and flexible to assist where needed most on the site.
