Job Title: CDL Class B Delivery Truck Driver – Food Service (Local / Home Daily) Location: Brooklyn, NY Job Type: Full-time Salary: $25-$30 per hour, 40s hour guarantied About the Role: We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious CDL Class B Truck Driver to join our local food service distribution team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, delivering food products directly to restaurants, markets, and warehouses. This is a local, home-daily position starting early in the morning, allowing you to be home every afternoon. Food service delivery is a physical, "touch freight" role that requires navigating Brooklyn streets and safely unloading product. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a Class B commercial straight truck through the five boroughs of NYC, NJ Conduct mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure safety compliance. Unload, wheel, and deliver food products Verify delivery accuracy against invoices and collect authorized signatures or payments from customers. Provide excellent customer service while resolving delivery discrepancies calmly and professionally. Maintain strict compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and local NYC commercial vehicle regulations (low bridges, truck routes). Required Qualifications & Skills: License: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or higher. Endorsements: Air Brakes endorsement required. Experience: Any Physical Demand: Must be able to repetitively lift, push, and pull cases weighing between 20 to 50 lbs throughout the shift. Certification: Pallet Jack experience. Compliance: Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test Communication: Ability to read invoices, shipping documents, and street signs in English, and communicate effectively with dispatch and restaurant managers. Availability: Must be willing to start early morning shifts (typically between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM).
