Your Role on the Road Transport freight across regional and long-distance routes. Operate and monitor company-provided commercial equipment. Inspect vehicles before and after trips to identify potential safety or maintenance issues. Verify proper load securement and handle freight transportation responsibly. Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection reports, and trip records. Coordinate with dispatch on delivery schedules, route changes, and shipment updates. Report mechanical concerns and follow established maintenance procedures. Meet DOT requirements and company safety guidelines. Communicate professionally with shippers, receivers, and customers. Qualifications for the Position Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A). Current DOT medical card. Previous commercial driving experience preferred. Knowledge of vehicle safety inspections and load securement. Responsible driving habits and commitment to DOT compliance. Dependability, good communication, and the ability to manage assigned routes.
