CDL Class A truck driver- Reefer & Dry Van- OTR & Regional

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a CDL Class A Truck Driver specializing in Reefer or Dry Van freight, operating either Over-the-Road (OTR) or Regional routes. NO FORCED DISPATCH-type of freight and route that best fits your experience and availability. Requirements: Valid Class A CDL. 2+ years of experience OTR reefer driving experience preferred. Clean and acceptable driving record. Current DOT Medical Card. No SAP Must pass a pre-employment drug test and required background/MVR checks. Reliable, safety-focused, and professional. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations when applicable. Drive refrigerated (reefer) or dry van trailers across OTR or regional routes, ensuring on-time deliveries to various locations. Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes, monitor traffic conditions, and ensure timely arrivals at delivery points. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional customer service. Skills Proven experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or similar equipment in a commercial driving environment. Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety procedures for truck driving. Skilled in route driving with GPS navigation tools for efficient planning and execution of OTR or regional trips. NO TOUCH FREIGHT Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, including manual transmission operation and tractor-trailer maneuvering. Familiarity with logistics cargo handling processes for freight transportation across various trailer types. Delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving, time management, and customer interaction.
