CDL Class A Truck Driver – Power Only

Job Summary As a CDL Class A Truck Driver – Power Only, you’ll operate a tractor-trailer to move freight safely and reliably. You’ll follow assigned over-the-road (OTR) and route-driving plans, use GPS navigation, and handle cargo according to its equipment and delivery requirements. This role may involve refrigerated trailers, flatbed or tanker equipment, automobile transportation, and dangerous goods, depending on the load and your qualifications. Responsibilities Drive commercial trucks on local and OTR routes, completing pickups and deliveries on schedule. Inspect the tractor and connected trailer before, during, and after trips; report safety or equipment concerns. Secure freight and perform manual handling, loading, unloading, and other logistics cargo-handling tasks as required. Use GPS navigation and route information to plan driving, communicate delays, and document deliveries. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A and ability to operate a tractor-trailer, including a manual transmission when required. Knowledge of commercial truck driving practices and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Ability to follow hazardous materials regulations; Hazmat endorsement or experience with dangerous goods is preferred where applicable. Delivery driver experience, commercial driving, truck driving, and route-driving experience are preferred. Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbed, tanker, automobile transportation, freight handling, and truck loading and unloading is a plus. 2 years experience required Pay: $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 per week Work Location: On the road
