Position Summary Benchmark Industrial is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers while providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally. This is a Monday–Friday, day-shift position. Drivers are home every night and are expected to complete their assigned daily routes, ensuring all scheduled deliveries are completed within the designated timeframe. Key Responsibilities • Safely operate a company-provided commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies. • Complete assigned daily delivery routes and ensure all scheduled stops are serviced. • Finish assigned routes each day. • Unload (electric pallet jack), secure, and handle products safely as required. • Verify delivery paperwork, customer orders, and shipping documentation for accuracy. • Provide professional and courteous customer service at every delivery location. • Communicate promptly with dispatch and management regarding delays, delivery issues, vehicle concerns, or route changes. • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional company vehicle. • Follow all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Required Qualifications • Valid CDL Class A driver's license. • Minimum of 5 years of verifiable CDL driving employment history. • Zero points on driving record at the time of hire. • Clean and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). • Demonstrated safe driving history and knowledge of DOT regulations. • Ability to safely load, unload, and handle freight as required. • Strong attendance, reliability, communication, and time-management skills. • Ability and willingness to complete assigned daily routes. • Professional attitude and commitment to customer service. Work Schedule & Compensation • Monday through Friday schedule. • Day-shift hours. • Pay range of $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience. • Home every night — no overnight or extended-haul trips. • Consistent weekday schedule; weekends and most holidays off. • Company-provided commercial vehicle.
