CDL Class A Truck Driver

CDL-A Solo Linehaul Driver | Rosemount, MN Harvey J, INC is hiring experienced Class A CDL Solo Drivers for local linehaul opportunities in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area. We are looking for reliable and professional drivers to handle customer pickups, trailer shuttles, and station-to-station moves. Position Highlights Class A CDL Solo Driver $16 per customer spot $16 per shuttle $5/day cell phone reimbursement Local routes throughout the Twin Cities, Minnesota Both fixed routes and floater positions available Typically home nightly Newer equipment, 5 years old or newer Paid training with a lead driver Yard and hands-on training before solo dispatch Growing company with opportunities for growth Schedule Start Time: 8:00 PM–11:00 PM Typical Hours: 10–12 hours per day Typical Mileage: Approximately 300 miles per day Schedule: 5 days per week Peak Season: 6 days per week between Thanksgiving and January 1 All days available Some routes may involve driving 4–5 hours out and back and are normally home nightly . Route & Job Responsibilities Drivers will be responsible for: Picking up trailers from local customers Delivering trailers to stations Swapping full and empty trailers Running trailer shuttles between stations Safely operating a tractor-trailer Following assigned routes and dispatch instructions Completing required inspections and maintaining safe operation Maintaining accurate driving and activity records Following company and safety procedures Driver Requirements Valid Class A CDL Minimum 1 year of driving experience Reliable and safety-focused Ability to work independently and follow established procedures Ability to work the required evening/night schedule Must be willing to work 5 days per week and 6 days during peak season Pay & Benefits $1,500–$2,000 weekly $0.60–$0.70 CPM based on experience $16 per customer spot $16 per shuttle $5/day cell phone reimbursement Paid every Friday Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) PTO 1 week of vacation per year Training New drivers will receive training with a lead driver , including yard training and hands-on training before being dispatched solo.
