CDL CLASS A TRACTOR/TRAILER DRIVER

Alliance Auto Parts is looking for a dependable Tractor-Trailer Driver . We will provide the Tractor and Trailer. Responsibilities Driving a 53-foot tractor-trailer round trip from Queens, New York to Albany, New York (approximately 315 miles round trip). Conducting thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Ensuring the load is properly secured before leaving Woodside and again before departing Albany. Safely operate tractor-trailers across assigned route, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly for repairs. Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents. Follow all safety protocols related to driving, load handling, and vehicle operation. Requirements 3+ Years driving a 53 foot trailer Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record. Must be able to back trailer into tight and confined spaces Excellent dependability Team player with professional communication skills Knowledge of route driving best practices and navigation skills for efficient deliveries. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Prior experience with truck driving in various environments is highly desirable. Schedule Monday-Friday | 5:15PM-2:30AM or until back on site in Woodside. Downtime approximately 1/2 way through shift while our team unloads/loads, approximately 2 hours up in Albany.
