Overview CDL Class A OTR Reefer Truck Driver – Regional South Routes Company: A-1 Performance Truck Repair Location: Dearborn, MI 48126 Position: Full-Time | Over-the-Road (OTR) Job Description A-1 Performance Truck Repair is looking for an experienced, dependable CDL Class A OTR Reefer Driver to join our growing team! We are hiring professional drivers for Over-the-Road (OTR) regional routes running from Michigan down South to Texas and back. This is an OTR position, not a local driving job. Our drivers operate 2023 or newer Peterbilt trucks , offering newer, well-maintained equipment for comfortable and reliable long-distance driving. If you have strong OTR experience, know how to handle refrigerated trailers, and are looking for consistent miles and dependable routes, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer with refrigerated (reefer) trailer. Run OTR regional routes from Michigan to Texas and other Southern destinations. Safely transport freight and ensure on-time deliveries. Monitor reefer temperatures and maintain proper refrigeration. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery paperwork. Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and Hours of Service regulations. Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers. Maintain a safe and professional driving record. Requirements Valid CDL Class A license. Minimum 3 years of verifiable CDL Class A driving experience. Previous OTR driving experience REQUIRED. Reefer trailer experience preferred. Clean MVR and acceptable driving history. Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations. Ability to operate refrigerated trailers and monitor temperatures. Must be comfortable with long-distance OTR driving and extended time on the road. Dependable, responsible, and safety-minded. Equipment 2023 or newer Peterbilt trucks.
