CDL Class A OTR Flatbed Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Over-the-Road (OTR) Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year experience in flatbed operations and a valid CDL Class A for a minimum of 2 years. As a OTR Flatbed Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight to designated locations while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Duties Operate and drive truck with a 53' flatbed trailer. Ensure proper handling and securing of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Plan routes effectively for timely deliveries while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation. Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered during route driving. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) A with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving with a focus in OTR flatbed delivery. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols for flatbed loads. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings as per company policy.
