CDL Class A - Night Hostler Position

Job Summary Join our night operations team as a CDL Class A Night Hostler and keep trailers moving safely and efficiently across the yard. You’ll operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers to position freight trailers, support loading and unloading, and help maintain an organized flow between the yard and dock. This role requires safe driving, careful equipment handling, and consistent attention to Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Duties Move and spot trailers between dock doors, staging areas, and yard locations; complete required vehicle and trailer checks. Support freight logistics cargo handling, including truck loading and unloading and manual handling when needed. Follow yard routes and use GPS navigation for route driving or delivery driving assignments as directed. Your impact: Safe, accurate trailer moves help dock teams work smoothly and keep freight flowing to its next destination. Skills Required: Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A and safe commercial truck driving, truck driving, and tractor-trailer skills; ability to operate a manual transmission. Required: Knowledge of safe driving practices, DOT and FMCSA regulations, and applicable hazardous materials regulations. Preferred: Delivery driver experience, over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, and experience with refrigerated trailers, freight, or logistics cargo handling. Pay: $23.50 - $25.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
