What We're Offering
• $40–$45 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
• $1,000 sign-on bonus — $500 paid immediately upon hire and the remaining $500 upon successful completion of the 60-day introductory period
• 64 hours (8 days) of paid vacation, granted upon successful completion of the 60-day introductory period

The Job
You'll be responsible for safely transporting heavy construction equipment between our company yards and active job sites throughout Western Massachusetts, Central Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
This is a hands-on position for a driver who is comfortable hauling, loading, unloading, and securing heavy construction equipment.
Equipment transported may include excavators, bulldozers, loaders, rollers, skid steers, and other heavy machinery.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Operating Class A tractor-trailer and lowboy combinations
• Loading, unloading, and properly securing heavy construction equipment
• Operating construction equipment as needed for loading and unloading
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Following DOT regulations, load securement requirements, and company safety procedures
• Safely maneuvering trucks and trailers on active construction sites
• Coordinating equipment moves with supervisors, operators, and mechanics
• Maintaining required logs and transportation documentation
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a driver who knows the equipment, understands the responsibility of hauling heavy machinery, and takes pride in doing the job safely and correctly.
Required qualifications:
• Valid CDL Class A license
• Demonstrated experience hauling heavy construction equipment using lowboy trailers
• Ability to safely load, unload, operate, and secure heavy equipment
• Strong driving record
• Current DOT medical certification
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement requirements
• Ability to pass required pre-employment drug testing and DOT Clearinghouse requirements
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
Preferred qualifications:
• 3+ years of professional Class A driving experience
• Experience with oversized loads and permitting
• OSHA 10 certification
