CDL Class A Local Intermodal Driver – Home Daily Company: PPR Logistics Location: South Holland, IL Pay: 28 to 32 an hour Job Type: Full-Time, Local Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 10–12 hours per day Job Description PPR Logistics is hiring reliable and experienced CDL Class A drivers for local intermodal container transportation in the Chicago area. We operate our own warehouse in South Holland, IL, and handle consistent import and export container shipmentsthroughout the year. This is a local driving position with steady weekly pay, no long-haul trips, and home time every day. Pay & Benefit Monday through Friday schedule ( Easy Schedule make your own) Home daily Weekends normally off Consistent year-round freight Company-provided truck, chassis, fuel, and maintenance Stable, long-term employment opportunity Job Responsibilities Transport containers between Chicago-area rail ramps and our South Holland warehouse Perform local intermodal drayage and drop-and-hook operations Complete assigned daily container moves Communicate with dispatch Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures Requirements Valid CDL Class A license Intermodal container experience preferred ( very important) loading heavy. Knowledge of Chicago rail ramps preferred Safe driving record Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to work approximately 10–12 hours per day Flexibility for occasional weekend work when required to complete missed Job Types: Contract, Full-time Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week Experience: Commercial Driving: 1 year (Required) Driving: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: CDL A (Required) Work Location: In person
