CDL Class A Hazmat Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various routes. This role requires proficiency in operating different types of trucks, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and Fuel trucks. The Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Responsibilities Operate various types of trucks including manual transmission, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks. Safely load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times while considering traffic conditions. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during routes. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving. Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading freight. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Familiarity with operating various truck types such as tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and dump trucks is preferred. Experience as a delivery driver is advantageous. Knowledge of route driving techniques and freight handling best practices. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
