NOW HIRING: CDL Class A Flatbed Driver Phoenix, AZ | Local Routes | Compensation: $27.50 per completed stop, plus applicable waiting-time pay Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–4:00 PM Location: Phoenix Metropolitan Area Equipment: Carrier Provided Truck & Flatbed Trailer Cargo: Construction Equipment About the Role We’re seeking an experienced, reliable, and safety-conscious CDL Class A Flatbed Driver to work as an independent contractor. This is a local position transporting construction equipment throughout the Phoenix area. Drivers handle scheduled pickups and deliveries, secure loads, and occasionally unload equipment using a forklift provided with the trailer. Consistent weekday hours; no overnight routes. Compensation $27.50 per completed stop (routes typically average 10–15 stops per day). Company issues Form 1099-NEC. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Carrier provided or approved vehicles and complete assigned routes Perform pre- and post-trip inspections Secure loads and operate forklift equipment as needed Follow all FMCSA, DOT, customer, and Company safety requirements Maintain delivery records, photos, and proof of delivery Report accidents, damage, or issues immediately Provide professional customer service Communicate professionally with dispatchers. Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Successful background check. Flatbed driving experience preferred. Familiarity with load securement procedures. Forklift operating experience preferred. Dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented. Extended Loading Wait Compensation: We understand that loading delays may occur. When loading takes longer than two hours, drivers are eligible for additional compensation. Applicable when loading exceeds the standard two-hour window. All compensation is subject to applicable wage and overtime requirements.
